Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 4, 2026
This policy explains the cookies and similar browser storage used on www.weblaunch48.com, what they do and how you can control them. It complements our Privacy Policy.
1. What we use
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser; local and session storage work similarly. We use them to make the site work, remember your choices and measure how the site is used.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| wl_geo | weblaunch48 (cookie) | Records whether your country requires cookie consent, so the banner only shows where needed. Stores only “eea” or “other”. | 30 days | Strictly necessary |
| wl_consent | weblaunch48 (local storage) | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies. | Until you clear it | Strictly necessary |
| wl_landing, wl_ref | weblaunch48 (session storage) | Remember which page your visit started on and which site referred you, so a quote request or chat can be credited to the right page. No identifiers. | End of browser session | Analytics (asks consent in the EEA/UK/CH) |
| _ga | Google Analytics (cookie) | Distinguishes visitors to produce usage statistics. | 2 years | Analytics (asks consent in the EEA/UK/CH) |
| _ga_PECJR47X23 | Google Analytics (cookie) | Keeps the state of your visit for usage statistics. | 2 years | Analytics (asks consent in the EEA/UK/CH) |
| Session ID | analytics.weblaunch48.com (session storage) | Groups the pages and clicks of one visit for session recordings. | End of browser session | Analytics (only loads after consent in the EEA/UK/CH) |
| Chat widget storage | botgenesis.cc (in the chat frame) | Keeps your conversation open as you move between pages. | Set by the chat provider | Functional |
| cms_session | weblaunch48 (cookie) | Keeps our team signed in to the content management system. Not set for visitors. | 7 days | Strictly necessary (staff only) |
2. Consent
In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, analytics storage and session recordings stay off until you click Accept, using Google Consent Mode. If you reject, Google Analytics only receives cookieless signals without identifiers, and we count quote requests and chats without storing anything in your browser. Elsewhere, analytics is on by default and you can turn it off at any time.
3. Changing your choice
Use the Cookie settings link in the website footer to accept or reject at any time. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site keeps working without them. To opt out of Google Analytics on all websites, you can install Google's opt-out browser add-on.
4. Changes
We'll update this list when we add or remove cookies. The date at the top shows the latest version.
